Title: Marketing Coordinator - HYBRID

Impact

Junior Achievement of Greater Boston (JA) seeks a creative and resourceful Marketing Coordinator to lead the organization’s overall marketing strategy and execution, including brand management, e-newsletters, external communications, social media, press releases, website updates, and collateral design. A successful candidate will be highly organized, motivated, collaborative, assertive, and comfortable taking the lead with external partners. This position works closely with the Development and Programs teams and reports to the Director of Development Operations.

This is a full-time position (exempt; $50k-$60k) and is currently remote except for occasional meetings and events, which incumbent will be expected to attend. The Marketing Coordinator will be supplied with a laptop and additional equipment to be able to comfortably work remotely. Must have reliable internet. Shared office space and conference rooms are available at JA’s Innovation Center at RSM at 80 City Square in the Charlestown neighborhood of Boston

Primary Responsibilities:

• Ownership of communications and brand plan in alignment with strategic vision and JA USA
• Spearhead and execute on marketing strategy
• Communicate clearly and effectively with external partners via bi-monthly e-newsletter and social media while aligning to best practices and responding to analytics. Maintain email lists and social channels
• Write and distribute press releases
• Collaborate closely with colleagues to maintain accurate and up-to-date website
• Lead creation of annual impact report, including design and content

General Duties
• Maintain accurate records and notes in our constituent database (BCRM) and Asana (project management tool). Track personal interactions, solicitations, and follow-up tasks, communicating next steps to the team as required
• Collaborate with the development team to identify prospective sponsors and partners
• Collaborate on additional events including JA Inspire
• Lend a hand with board meetings, associate board meetings and events
• Other duties as required

Qualifications (required)

• A minimum of 2-5 years of successful experience in marketing, or a similar background
• Must be a strong writer, and have excellent oral and presentation skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills; keen attention to detail and diligent follow through a must
• Ability to effectively work under tight deadlines and manage projects independently while sticking to a fast-paced strategy plan
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse internal and external stakeholders, as well as independently; experience with and ability to work remotely
• Must have experience in coordinating, managing, problem-solving, and executing projects independently
• Must have proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)
• Knowledge and experience with a CRM system, preferably Blackbaud (e.g. Raiser’s Edge), and familiarity with Asana a plus
• Design software experience such as Photoshop and other Adobe applications and platforms, Canva, etc. photography/videography experience is a plus
• Must have proficiency in social media platforms: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, WordPress. Familiarity with social media tools and analytics
