As you may have noticed, we embarked on a new adventure over the summer–officially changing our name to Junior Achievement of Greater Boston.

This change coincides with us adopting a bold, new strategic direction for the organization. To achieve our vision of closing the wealth and opportunity gaps for youth, we are mainly focused on working with middle and high school students in nine impact communities. Currently:

  • Boston
  • Brockton
  • Chelsea
  • Lawrence
  • Lowell
  • Lynn
  • Quincy
  • Somerville
  • Worcester

“We’ve made these big changes so we can make an even bigger impact on the lives of students most in need of opportunities,” said our President & CEO Radhames Nova. “Connecting them to a future that they perhaps didn’t know was possible has the power to transform their families, schools and communities, and ultimately create a more equitable society.”

You may have noticed that we look a little different, too. Our name change and new strategic direction coincide with the launch of Junior Achievement USA's new brand identity, which includes a new logo—the organization’s first new logo since 1986. The logo represents birds soaring, because the sky’s the limit for JA youth!
