Jojo Antonio joined JA of Greater Boston in 2019 as its Development Coordinator, rising from the ranks through sheer hard work and excellence to become its Development Operations Manager, Director of Development Operations, and, most recently, its Director of Operations. Before joining the company, Jojo was a Development Officer at the United Way Youth Venture of North Central Massachusetts and a Development Advisor at Save One Life, providing strategic expertise to both organizations expansion. Previously, he served Institutional Advancement Officer at Silliman University, the oldest American school in the Philippines and Asia, for six years. In this role, he managed fund or resource generation campaigns, corporate and foundation relations, donor management, and unique development projects. Jojo began his career as a faculty member at Silliman University, teaching biology for a few years before being appointed as Head of the Student Organizations and Activities Division, where he led co-curricular activities and student leadership development programs.

Jojo holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a particular concentration in Terrestrial Biology from Silliman University and Certificates in Professional Fundraising (Boston University) and Social Impact Management and Leadership (Institute of Non-Profit Practice and Tufts University). He was also a Leadership Fellow of the Freidrich Naumann Foundation in Germany.

Jojo is passionate about environmental advocacy and equity as demonstrated by his volunteer work as a convenor of the Citizens Alliance for Responsible Development, past board membership with the Wildlife Conservation Society of the Philippines, development and graphics consulting work with the Asian Women for Health, DearTomorrow, ATASK, among other non-profit organization in Boston. Jojo resides in Boston with his family and is an avid golfer and visual art enthusiast.
