Junior Achievement of Greater Boston remains dedicated to diversity, equity, and inclusion on all levels, including the composition of its Board of Directors. We’ve been posting here about our newest directors — if you missed our first two announcements, be sure to click here and here and make sure you stay tuned for the final installment coming soon.

These directors, who represent a range of industries and backgrounds, will help lead the organization in its mission to connect middle and high school students to real-world opportunities and prepare those students to become future leaders themselves.

Junior Achievement of Greater Boston is thrilled to introduce you to three more of our newest directors!

The directors are:

Toly Chea, Chief Operating Officer, Sanalife and Aqualite US

Rommel Espinal, Vice President, Customer Inclusion Community Leader, Fidelity Investments

Sheryce Hearns-Brisbon, Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Dellbrook | JKS

Toly Chea, Chief Operating Officer, Sanalife and Aqualite US

Toly has more than 20 years of experience in financial analysis, trading equity and index exchange traded securities, and operations. He has directed multiple diverse teams and streamlined processes resulting in organizational advancement and growth. Before joining Sanalife and Aqualite US, Toly served in many senior management positions in investments and operations for SCS Financial Services, a Boston-based wealth management firm. Toly holds a Bachelor of Science from Northeastern University with a dual concentration in Finance and Management Information Systems. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and an active member of the CFA Society Boston. Toly is also a co-founder of the RMF Foundation, a nonprofit that provides equitable access to clean air and water for all communities. Toly resides in Dracut, Mass., with his wife and two children. He enjoys watching all Boston sports and spending time with his family in Old Orchard Beach, Me.

Rommel Espinal, Vice President, Customer Inclusion Community Leader, Fidelity Investments

Rommel’s broad knowledge spans more than 20 years and multiple business lines and countries across Fidelity, with a focus into digital product innovation. His most recent role prior to customer inclusion was as a director of product management, focused on Fidelity’s emerging health care business where he holds a patent in decision algorithms. He is a founding member of Fidelity’s Aspire Black and Latino Resource Group and also sits on the Board of Directors for his children’s preschool in Hollis, N.H. He holds a master’s degree in innovation and technology from Boston University and a bachelor’s degree in information technology and marketing from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. He also enjoys traveling to parts unknown with his family and trying his best to be just as adventurous playing amateur chef in the kitchen.

Sheryce Hearns-Brisbon, Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Dellbrook | JKS

Sheryce is the first woman and first minority to be appointed as an executive at Dellbrook | JKS, a construction management firm with offices in Quincy and Falmouth, Mass. As Director of DEI, Sheryce is responsible for creating and ensuring there is a diverse, equitable and inclusive culture at Dellbrook | JKS by implementing strategic policies and procedures with measurable outcomes to determine success. She has an extensive career in economic and business development, as she served as Deputy Director for the City of Boston Mayor’s Office of Economic Development during the Walsh and Menino administrations. During her time with the City of Boston, she started and implemented several programs and initiatives that were geared toward closing the economic gap for minority residents and businesses. In May 2022, Sheryce was recognized by City of Boston Mayor Michelle Wu as well as City Councilor Erin Murphy and the Inspectional Services Department for her work as a woman in the construction industry.

Sheryce is currently a member of the American Contract Compliance Association’s (ACCA) National Training Institute, which provides education on topics of affirmative action, contract compliance, certification, labor compliance, economic and business development, and civil rights from Morgan State University. She is also on several committees for the Associated General Contractors Association (AGC) as well as the Mass Housing Investment Corporation’s (MHIC) Racial Equity Committee.
